Our world-class recreational facility is a place for everyone to experience the joys of sport and as a venue for events.  Wellington Chinese Sports and Cultural Centre also offers you a premium wooden sprung floor which is ideal for sports and dancing, as well as numerous spaces for meetings and parties.

The Centre has been hired out for a number of different purposes, sports being the main one but also recently used by the NZSO, the movie industry for training and National Ballroom competitions. Sports such as volleyball, netball, futsal, basketball, rhythmic gymnastics, and dancing groups have uses our multi purpose venue for regular weekly training.  We have plenty of free parking just outside too.

The venue is available for one off functions such as Weddings, 21st celebrations, anniversaries, book launches, dances, conferences.

  • We have tables and chairs on site available to hire, and some kitchen facilities are available.

  • There is disabled access along with disabled toilet facilities, and nappy changing.

  • We have recently installed a defibrillator in case of emergency.

  • The recently renovated toilet facilities also have full running showers and changing rooms.
