CHINESE DANCING 

​The Centre has Chinese dancing for girls aged from 5 to 13 years in the summer months.  Each year our dance troupes spend a lot of time preparing to perform on stage at the Chinese New Year Festival in Wellington.  They also perform at other Chinese New Year and public events through the summer months. Our troupes dance to traditional Chinese folk songs taught to them by our teenage members who have performed the dances themselves for WCSCC in earlier years.  In recent years we have had three dance troupes aged 5-7 years, 8-10 years and 11-13 years.

Our groups are available to perform from January to May.  If you are interested in a performance for your function or event please contact Juliet Young.
