Enrollment & Fees
- Enrolment is open to children up to & including the age of 5 years (older siblings are welcome to attend the sessions provided they do not dominate the teacher’s time for private advanced tuition at the expense of the preschool attendees). Their parents/caregivers automatically become a member of the preschool committee and have the right to attend core committee meetings.
- Fees are $50 for a single child and $60 per family (for more than one child where the second is older than 18 months) per term and are due by the second week of each term. In addition, the Wellington Chinese Sports and Cultural Centre (WCSCC) charge an annual $30 membership fee per family. This is generally payable in term one (but will be collected on a term by term basis for new enrolments).
- Cheques should be made out to ‘WCSCC Yau-Yih-Yun’ with the child’s name written on the back and passed to the Treasurer, or a core committee member.
- Visitors may attend a free session by prior arrangement with a core committee member/teacher. Thereafter they will pay the appropriate fees for that term.
- Registered members (i.e. those who do not have children attending Yau-Yih-Yun but would like to receive information) will pay $10 annually.
