During the year, the Wellington Chinese Language Pre-school ‘WCSCC Yau-Yih-Yun’ performs in a number of concerts. These are good opportunities to promote Chinese cultural values and for children to dress up in traditional costume and sing Chinese songs to an audience.

YYY participates in, on average, three major events each year, with around 8-10 children singing 3-4 songs each time.

In 2002, YYY has performed at the Chinese New Year Celebration at Courtenay Place in February, the Easter Cultural Concert at St. James Theatre in April, and the Wellington Chinese Sports & Cultural Centre’s 25th Jubilee in June. (Photo 6)
